Elisa Saccon

Elisa completed her PhD at the University of Padova in 2019, before moving to Sweden to take up a post-doctoral postion with the Sönnerborg lab over the road from HERM at LabMed. Since 2021 she has jumped ship from viruses to immunology, and works on the role of SAMD9 and SAMD9L in controlling viral infection. In the future, she aspires to be cited as many times as Laura on Google Scholar.

In her spare time, Elisa enjoys nurturing her tomato plants and going for hikes.
