Samuel Chiang
Sam defended his thesis on “Pathogenesis and Mechanisms of Immunodeficiency Syndromes Affecting Lymphocyte Cytotoxicity” in November 2015 and is now a Research Associate at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, USA.
Martha-Lena Muller
Martha defended her thesis on “Mechanisms of Human Cytotoxic Lymphocyte Exocytosis” in October 2016, and is now a postdoc at the Univeristy of Wurzburg, Germany.
Giovanna Perinetti Casoni
Giovanna defended her thesis concerning control of lymphocyte cytotoxicity in December 2023 and is now a postdoc in Kalle Malmberg’s lab at the University of Oslo.
Heinrich Schlums
Heinrich defended his thesis on “Human Cytotoxic Lymphocyte Signaling – Mechanisms and Relevance to Human Disease” in November 2017, before becoming a postdoc in our research group.
Bianca Tesi
Bianca defended her thesis on “Genetic determinants of lymphocyte-mediated control of infections, cancer, and autoimmunity” in November 2017, and is now a Resident in Clinical Genetics at Karolinska Institutet.
Jakob Theorell
Jakob defended his thesis on “Studies of Chronic Human Immunodeficiency Syndromes Affecting Lymphocyte Cytotoxicity” in October 2017, and is now a group leader at Karolinska Institutet after a stint as a postdoc at the University of Oxford, UK.
Lamberto Torralba-Raga
Lamberto defended his thesis in October 2021, and is now continuing his NK cell research in a post-doc with Karl-Johan Malmberg’s lab is Oslo, Norway.
Former Postdocs
Stephanie Wood
Stephanie was a lab member from 2009 to 2015, and is now Culture Strategy Program Manager at the University of Sydney, Australia.
Hongya Han
Hongya graduated his PhD in 2014, and was a postdoc with the Bryceson group from 2014 to 2018. He is now a lab head at Innovent Biologics, China.
Irene Gutierrez Perez
Irene graduated her PhD in 2015, and was a postdoc with the Bryceson lab from 2017 until 2019. She is now a research scientist in Allcyte, Austria.
Beatrice Zitti
Bea graduated her PhD in 2017 from the University of Rome – Sapienza in Italy. From 2017-2022 she was a post-doc at the Bryceson lab and has now taken up a post-doc position at the Université de Geneve, Switzerland.
Frank Cichocki
Frank was a postdoc at the Bryceson lab for one year, leaving in 2012. He is now a group leader at the University of Minnesota, USA.
Mattias Voss
Mattias was a Bryceson lab postdoc from 2015 until 2018, when he left to head his own group in Kiel, Germany. He remains a collaborator of the Bryceson lab.
Donatella Galgano
Dona graduated her PhD in 2015 and worked with the Bryceson Group from 2017 until 2020. She is now a postdoctoral fellow in Milan, Italy.
Anna Rita Redavid
Anna Rita completed a PhD in Lyon in 2020, and subsequently held a position with the Bryceson lab until 2023.
Misty Marshall
Misty joined the Bryceson lab in 2013 having completed her PhD in 2007, and left in 2015. She is now a Senior Research Fellow at Uppsala Universitet.
Takuya Sekine
Tak completed his PhD in 2016, and was a member of the Bryceson group until 2019, and is now a postdoc in the Buggart group at Karolinska Institutet.
Saeed Eshtad
Saeed graduated his PhD in the Helleday lab at KI in 2017. From 2017 to 2021 Saeed continued cell cycle research as a post-doc with the Bryceson lab.
