Welcome Irene!

Irene joins us from Gaiole in Chianti, a little town in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. She has just received her MSc degree in Molecular Biology from University of Siena, Italy. For my thesis project she studied Natural Killer cells and for the next six months will carry out an internship at the KI thanks to a scholarship funded by the Erasmus program. She will study Tissue-resident memory T cells with Dr Beatrice Zitti.
